The SLS program corresponds to a complementary training session of two weeks, that will take place in summer 2019 in Lubljana, Slovenia. The targeted public is both students and teachers, and more globally anyone interested in Transport and Logistics. This final report of the second activity of the Erasmus + Summer Logistics School program was prepared under the coordination of AFT, with the participation of all stakeholders in the project. Its purpose is to summarize all the sub-activities carried out under activity 2, which is the definition of SLS training objectives.
First of all, it is necessary to recall the general objective of the project. The aim is to propose, by the summer of 2019, a summer school program in the field of transport and logistics. This Summer School will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and will bring together speakers from different European countries. The objective of the Summer School will be to provide additional knowledge, know-how and skills in relation to the current VET training offer in the different member countries of the project.
This report is the second preparative step to define the training objectives of the Summer Logistics School (SLS). Indeed, the SLS project aims to develop a summer school programme in the field of transport and logistics that will be implemented in summer 2019 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The objective of this Summer Logistics School is to provide additional knowledge, know-how and skills in relation to the current VET training offer in the different member countries of the project.
The guidelines for testing the SLS will cover following relevant areas:
- identification of the participants' and trainers' needs in order to settle their accomodation,
- settlement of infrastructure (classrooms, computer laboratories, etc.),
- identification of support staff,
- settlement of equipment (software tools, nautical and other simulators, etc.),
- preparation of material.
